I'm an author of contemporary fiction, a freelance fiction editor, and a writing coach. Many of my stories are set in Birmingham, including my novels: No Place, Deeds Not Words and Park Life. I have a short ghost story in this anthology and you can read a couple of very short pieces of mine online at The Pygmy Giant and The Drabble. If you're a fan of festive fiction, a couple of my short stories are in this free Christmas anthology.
As well as writing fiction, I also offer editorial services. Until recently, I ran the PoW-WoW Writers' Group and chaired the annual PoW-WoW Festival of Writing.
16th - 20th July 2018 at Retreats For You in Devon. I'm looking forward to coaching writers on this submissions week at the beautiful Retreats For You. See more details at their website.
I love meeting readers and am happy to attend events to talk about No Place, Deeds Not Words and Park Life, books in general, writing and anything else which crops up.
I've also run writing workshops for writers' groups or for adults who'd like to get started in writing fiction, and given talks to writers interested in self-publishing. Do get in touch if you'd like me to visit your group or event.
